Official Music Video  “Pray For Salone” by Judah Zubairu

Judah Zubairu is a Sierra Leonean born gospel artist and a song writer popularly called Jay, he started his singing career at a very tender age and since then he has been successful song writer and lyricist with many songs.

Jay has just released an inspirational  gospel song titled – Pray For Salone – during this corona virus pandemic which is so encouraging.

Michael Songa (MS Media) is the music director and Young Lee is the producer

The Official Music Video was shot in  different locations – Goderich Number 2 quarry (Freetown), York Village, Gbereh bridge and gloucestr village etc

According to Jay, he was inspired by God to write this song and had the leading which he discussed with a friend of his. A lot of experiences from living in Sierra Leone helped with the concept of the song. Sierra Leone has been through a lot as a nation, considering war, Ebola, political instability etc.

Jay said when he looked back at all of this and even considering the current corona virus situation, he felt the urge to do a song that directs the attention of people back to God. He know that with a unified voice in prayer it would go a long way in bringing about the needed change we want to see. The song is a prayer in itself and is also a call on all Sierra Leoneans to pray on behalf of the nation.

Even though there were challenges of high risk, moving from location to locations with the whole corona virus crisis limiting the progress and the video was quite expensive considering costumes, transporting, recording, shooting, props and set etc.

Jay successfully prayed and calls for all Sierra Leoneans to pray for our beloved nation during this Covid-19 Pandemic through his song.
