Rev. Alpha Bassie Kamara, born in Freetown Sierra Leone, January 7. 1961. Attended the Sir Milton Margai School for the Blind, 1969 to 1974, The Albert Academy, 1974 to 1979, The Jaiama Secondary School 1979 to 1982. Then travelled to Liberia and formed the Christain Association of the Blind and trained several blind youths and also attended the Monrovia Bible Training Center and got the calling to minister the Gospel through songs. He later teamed up with some other local Gospel singers and formed the Frandie Gospel Band in 1997, and brought Gospel music to what it is today.
