Leslie Koroma is a Sierra Leonean-American Business man and Sports Industry Expert. He is the Founder and CEO of African Sports Monthly Magazine, which is Africa’s first ever and only comprehensive Sports Magazine that covers all sports, disciplines about Africa and Africans in the Diaspora. He is also the founder of Songhai Technologies Inc. a Technology service provider and product development company.
Leslie Koroma Sr has over 23 years experience in the technology sector with multiple certifications and is also a certified educator, who on his spare time coaches a variety of sports disciplines.
Born in Sierra Leone, Leslie Koroma Sr graduated from Fourah Bay College (University of Sierra Leone) and Sam Houston State University (Texas USA). He represented Sierra Leone in two World University Games in Athletics and is also an avid Martial Arts Practitioner and weight training enthusiast.
An advocate for capacity building in the African Sports space he serves on the Board of Directors for the Sierra Leone Rugby Union and is the International Rep for the Sierra Leone Athletics Association and a member of a US based Non Governmental Organization; Love of Sports.
He is widely connected to key players in the sports industry both in Africa and beyond and brings vast experience to the Africa Sports Ventures Group Company.
