SLAAM caught up with The Sierra Leonean Artist known as YOK 7 meaning ‘YOUR OBELUS KALEIDOSCOPE’ a brightly coloured fragments of the universe and reference the number 7 to the days of the week. The Hip Hop artist has worked with the united nations peace building in sierra Leone, Hope Salone, Music Ambassador Amnesty International.
He is one of the Sierra Leone’s most consistent icons of rap music game, lyrically possessive, a force to reckon with who has inspired a lot of young artists into rap battles to takes the game to another level.

YOK 7 has been rumored to be one of Sierra Leone chart topping and record breaking rappers this year not just in his country Sierra Leone, but in Nigeria and the diaspora.

The Reggae Artist, Ja Wyze Surprises Fans After The Release of a Gospel Song ‘Testify’.
Ja Wyze got the nick name of Wise Man for always spilling wisdom to the hearing of people around him as he used his music to deliver his wisdom on the hearing of the world.
He was born and raised in Freetown, Sierra Leone release an inspiring gospel song titled Testify during the pandemic that left his fans with so much surprises reason was because he is a reggae musician.
According to him the inspiration began two months before the coronavirus pandemic were he started praying and asking God to show Himself to the people for them to believe He is in existence and not to destroy the world.
Ja Wyze said he prayed for people and the evil situation surrounding humanity
“It all started two months before the pandemic when I had a moment and started praying for humanity and all the atrocity that is happening in the world and I asked the almighty God to show His reaction so mankind can know He is real but at moment the fear of the lord came upon me of his might and I asked Him not to destroy the world” says Ja Wyze.
The reggae artist who is based in Washington DC, described how the song titled ‘Testify’ was produced.
“Few weeks past my producer called me to the studio saying he has a beat, he can’t come up with a concept because it’s different then I asked him play the beat and I composed, wrote the song right there with the inspiration of the almighty.
He said the idea and the concept of the music video was from him and the video was directed and produced by Doms.
