The Will - VIP Movie Release

The entertainment industry out in the USA diaspora is taking a revolutionary turn as SLAAM works with the Sierra Leone film industry to promote the artistic talents of their own.  In the past year  multiple films that have been released in Sierra Leone, are gradually crossing the Atlantic ocean to be aired in the USA.

 

The latest movie that has everyone in suspense is “THE WILL” soon to be aired in the USA at a VIP screening on Friday December 13, 2013 at the prestigious Canterbury Hall. Before going viral nationwide. The screening will start with red carpet interviews at 7:30pm.

THE WILL  was shot entirely in Sierra Leone, produced and directed by one of Sierra Leone’s finest, and  honorary SLAAM award winner Jimmy Bangura. After hitting the Hollywood big screen in Eddie Murphy's Coming to America, Jimmy who is also a renowned musician took his music to the next level with the underground source in London and later settled in South Africa where he topped the EMI charts. Jimmy decided that it was better to build an empire in his home country that will benefit the people of Sierra Leone; He stormed the Nigerian film industry - Nollywood working with some of the biggest names like: Tchidi Chikere, The late Enebeli, Rita Dominic, Mike Ezuruonye and Chika Eke just to name a few.

THE WILL features artists such as Assatou Bah, Salami Carew, Celia Greenwood, Phillip Scott, Mayonin Bangura, Mohamed Bobson-Kamara, Jimmy B. INTRODUCING: Margret Black, Kadiatu Kamara, Timothy Greenwood. With GUEST APPEARNCES: Dennis Nelson-Streeter, Milly Terry, Joe Abass– Bangura, Gbana Bom, Nasser Ayoub, Bob Grey, Salamatu Kuyateh, and Kenneth Kargbo.
